The placement of the final year students is going on in full swing and the who’s who from various industries are coming to the MIT campus for recruitment .

So when Maruti Suzuki came to our campus they were very much interested in knowing where we build our race cars. They were one of our sponsors in 2008 season and were very happy to see how the team had progressed over the last year, especially the new facilities in our workshop.

We would like to thank Mr. C.V.Raman(Chief general manager,Engg design and RnD, Maruti Suzuki) for taking out time to visit our workshop and for his encouragement.

Some may argue that Formula Student is a competition mainly from Mechanical or Automobile students but we beg to differ. We had Mr Ramakrishnan G & Mr.Tushar from Microsoft come over to our workshop  and have a look at not only the FM09 car but also our top secret software .We are constantly striving to improve our efficiency in innovative ways and with our software we aim to achieve that.
